The marketplace for building and construction materials.

Delivery & Drivers

Materials to the site, with custody confirmed at every handover.

Heavy materials have to get to site, and that last mile is where trust is won or lost. Build360 manages delivery end to end: a driver is assigned to each order, custody is confirmed when the driver collects from the dealer, the order is tracked on its way, and receipt is confirmed at handover to the buyer. The chain of custody and the chain of money line up — dealer at pickup, buyer confirmation at delivery — so materials and payment are always accounted for.

1

Assign a driver to each order

When an order is ready for dispatch, a driver is assigned — chosen by the dispatcher or matched to the order. The driver sees what to collect, where to collect it, and where it is going, so the delivery starts with everyone clear on the job.

2

Confirm custody at pickup

When the driver collects the materials from the dealer, custody is confirmed in the system. The handover from dealer to driver is recorded, so responsibility for the goods is unambiguous from the moment they leave the store.

3

Track the delivery to site

The order moves to out-for-delivery and the buyer can see it is on the way. The marketplace team and the dealer can follow active deliveries too, so a delayed or problematic delivery is visible immediately rather than discovered after a complaint.

4

Confirm receipt at handover

At the site, delivery is confirmed when the buyer takes receipt of the materials. Confirmation closes the custody chain and triggers the next step in the money chain — the dealer's payout. Materials delivered, receipt confirmed, payment released, all in sequence.

5

Reassign a delivery in flight

If a driver becomes unavailable mid-delivery, the order can be reassigned to another driver atomically, without losing the order's history or leaving the materials in limbo. Real-world delivery hits snags; Build360 handles them without dropping the order.
