Events & Fundraisers

Plan the event. Track the support. Account for every shilling.

Fundraising events — galas, charity runs, community fundraisers, donor appreciation evenings — are significant investments of staff time and organisational reputation. Nonprofit360 manages the operational side so your team can focus on the experience: set up the event, open registrations, manage sponsorships, track attendance, and pull every ticket sale and sponsorship payment directly into your financial records without a separate system or a reconciliation exercise afterwards.

1

Set up events with all the details

Create an event with name, date, venue, capacity, and the fundraising goal it supports. Assign the revenue to a campaign or fund so ticket income and sponsorships land in the right place in your accounts from the moment they are received.

2

Manage registrations and ticket types

Open registrations with one or more ticket types — individual, couple, VIP table — each with its own price and capacity limit. Registrations are tracked in real time so you know how many seats remain and can close registration when you reach capacity.

3

Track sponsorships and in-kind support

Record sponsors against the event — their name, sponsorship level, cash or in-kind value, and any recognition commitments you have agreed. Sponsorship income posts to the event’s revenue total and to the fund in your accounts.

4

Record attendance on the day

Mark registered attendees as attended or absent as they arrive. Attendance data feeds into post-event reporting so you know your actual turnout versus registrations, and can measure whether the event format is converting interest into presence.

5

Post event revenue to the ledger automatically

Ticket payments and sponsorships received post to the designated fund and campaign in your financial records through the same accounting bridge that handles all Nonprofit360 transactions. No manual journals, no post-event reconciliation — the books are already up to date.

6

Coordinate volunteers for the event

Assign volunteers from your volunteer roster to event roles — setup crew, registration desk, ushers, photographers — directly from the event record. Their hours for the event accrue to their volunteer profile, feeding into both volunteer recognition and grant reporting.
