Checkout & Payments

Services, products, and tips — settled in one quick transaction.

Checkout is the moment a salon either feels professional or feels improvised. Salon360 brings the whole visit onto one ticket — services performed, products bought, add-ons, and any package — and settles it in a single payment by cash, mobile money, or card. Deposits secure high-value bookings, tips are recorded against the stylist, and the client walks out with a clear receipt by print or SMS. Every transaction flows into the day's takings, ready for end-of-day reconciliation.

1

Ring up the whole visit on one ticket

As a client moves through their visit, services and products accumulate on a single ticket. At checkout the front desk sees the full bill — services, add-ons, retail, and any package or discount — and there is never a scramble to remember what was done. The total is accurate to the menu and the loyalty programme automatically.

2

Accept any payment method

Collect payment in cash, by mobile money, or by card, and support split payments when a client wants to pay part one way and part another. Each method is recorded separately with its reference, so the day's takings reconcile cleanly across every channel.

3

Secure bookings with a deposit

For high-value services or clients with a no-show history, take a deposit when the appointment is booked. The deposit records against the booking and is deducted from the balance at checkout. A deposit protects your stylists' time and dramatically reduces missed high-value appointments.

4

Record tips against the stylist

Tips are part of a stylist's livelihood. Salon360 lets the front desk add a tip at checkout and attribute it to the stylist who earned it, keeping a clean record for fair distribution and transparent payout alongside commission.

5

Give the client a receipt their way

Print a receipt on the spot or send it by SMS or email. The receipt itemises services and products, shows loyalty points earned, and carries the salon's branding. Clients keep a clear record and the salon looks every bit as professional as it is.

6

Reconcile the day in minutes

At close, the day's takings are summarised by payment method against the cash counted in the drawer, with any variance highlighted. End-of-day reconciliation that used to be a stressful guess becomes a two-minute confirmation, and discrepancies surface immediately rather than at month-end.
