Stylists & Commissions
Schedule your team and pay them accurately, down to the last service.
Stylists are the salon, and managing them — their shifts, their availability, and especially their pay — is where many salons lose time and money. Salon360 schedules each stylist, controls when they appear as bookable, and attributes every service and product sale to the person who delivered it. Commission is calculated automatically against configurable rules, so the end-of-month payout is accurate, transparent, and ready without anyone reconciling a paper tally.

Roster stylists and set their shifts
Define each stylist's working days and hours, and the calendar only offers their slots when they are on shift. Manage leave, days off, and split shifts in the roster, and the booking availability reflects it automatically — clients are never offered a slot with a stylist who is not in.
Attribute every service to the stylist who did it
Every booking and every walk-in service is linked to the stylist who performed it. When services are shared — a colour by one stylist, a blow-dry by another — each portion attributes correctly. This clean attribution is the foundation for fair commission and for understanding who is driving the business.
Calculate commission automatically
Set a commission rule per stylist or per service category — a percentage of service revenue, a tiered rate that rises with volume, or a flat amount per service. As services are completed and paid, commission accrues automatically against the stylist. No spreadsheets, no disputes about what was earned.
Reward retail sales with product commission
Stylists who recommend and sell retail products deserve a cut. Configure a separate commission rate on product sales and the system credits the selling stylist whenever a product is added to their client's ticket. Retail attachment rises when stylists have a direct incentive to recommend the right products.
Produce a payout summary per stylist
At the end of any period, generate a commission summary for each stylist showing the services and products that earned commission, the rate applied, and the total due. The summary is a clear, itemised record that makes payday fast and removes every argument about the numbers.
Give stylists visibility of their own performance
Each stylist can see their own upcoming bookings, the services they have completed, and the commission they have earned so far in the period. Visibility motivates — when stylists can watch their earnings grow, they fill their own diaries and recommend products without being chased.
