Sales Analytics

Know what is selling, where, to whom, and at what margin.

Gut feel has its place, but retail decisions made on data are consistently better. Retail360 collects every sale across every branch and cashier, and surfaces it through reports that answer the questions managers actually ask: what are my best-sellers this week, which branch is growing fastest, where are my margins being squeezed, and which cashier needs coaching? Export the underlying data anytime for your accountant or business review.

1

Track sales trends over time

The revenue trend chart shows daily, weekly, or monthly sales for any date range you choose. Overlay previous periods to compare this month to last month, or this week to the same week last year — patterns in the data are visible without any spreadsheet work.

2

Identify your best-sellers and slow movers

Rank every product by units sold and by revenue over the period. The top-sellers report shows what to keep in stock; the slow-movers report shows what to discount, return to supplier, or cut from the range before it ties up capital on the shelf.

3

Compare branches side by side

The multi-branch report puts every location’s revenue, units, transaction count, and average basket on the same table. Spot the branch that is underperforming relative to its size, or the one that is growing faster than the rest — then direct attention accordingly.

4

Review cashier performance

Break sales down by cashier to see total revenue, transaction count, average transaction value, and total discounts given. High discount rates from a specific cashier stand out immediately — so coaching conversations are backed by numbers, not impressions.

5

Track gross margin by product and category

Because purchase costs flow into inventory valuation, Retail360 can calculate gross margin per product and per category. The margin report shows where you are making money and where promotions or supplier prices are squeezing the business.

6

Export data for external use

Every report can be exported to CSV or PDF directly from the screen. Hand the CSV to your accountant, drop it into your board presentation template, or feed it into a planning model — the data leaves the system in a format that works anywhere.

7

Schedule and receive summary reports

Configure a daily or weekly summary email that delivers key metrics — total sales, top five products, and branch breakdown — to the managers who need it, without them having to log in to fetch it. The data finds them.
