Timetable & Scheduling
Every class, every teacher, every room — visible at a glance.
A well-made timetable is one of the hardest planning tasks in a school, and a bad one costs teaching time every single day. Edu360 gives the school administrator a structured workspace to build lesson and examination timetables, assign teachers and rooms, detect clashes before publishing, and share final schedules with staff, students, and parents through the portal. When the timetable changes mid-term — a teacher is absent, a room is unavailable — updates are made once and the change propagates everywhere.

Build lesson timetables term by term
Create a timetable for each term by dragging subject-teacher pairs into period slots on the class grid. The system works with the period structure you define — number of lessons per day, break times, and double periods — so the grid reflects how your school actually runs.
Detect and resolve clashes before publishing
As allocations are made, the system checks for teacher double-bookings and room conflicts in real time, flagging clashes before the timetable is published. Administrators see exactly which slot is affected and what alternative is available, so the published timetable is always feasible.
Allocate teachers to subjects and classes
Assign one or more teachers to each subject-class combination and set their teaching load for the term. Teacher workload summaries show how many periods each teacher carries so overloading is visible before the timetable is finalised.
Schedule and book rooms
Add your teaching rooms with their capacity and type — laboratories, library, sports hall — and associate rooms with specific lessons or periods. The room schedule shows at a glance which spaces are free at any time and prevents double-booking across departments.
Build examination timetables
Create a separate examination timetable for each examination sitting, assigning subjects to venues and invigilators with the same clash-detection logic used for lesson timetables. The exam schedule publishes to the student portal so students and parents always have the correct sitting details.
Publish and share schedules with staff and students
Published timetables are visible to teachers in their staff portal and to students and parents in the student portal — no printed notice boards to update when something changes. An amendment log tracks every change made after publishing so there is always a record of what the original schedule said.
