Processing & Workflow
Every garment tracked from the drop-off basket to the collection rail.
What happens between intake and collection is where orders get delayed, garments get lost, and customers get disappointed. Laundromat360 builds structure into your processing floor: each order moves through a defined set of stages, staff update the status by scanning the garment tag, and the system timestamps every transition. Managers see the live position of every order at a glance, express orders are visually flagged throughout, and care requirements are displayed at the stage where they matter most. When something goes wrong — a stain that won't lift, a garment that cannot be found — the incident is logged and the customer is notified before collection day.

Move orders through defined processing stages
Every order progresses through a standard sequence: Received → Sorting → Washing → Drying → Ironing → Quality Check → Ready → Collected. Staff advance an order to the next stage by scanning the garment barcode at any workstation. The system timestamps each transition, so you can measure exactly how long orders spend at each stage and identify where your bottlenecks are.
See the full processing board at a glance
The processing board shows every active order grouped by its current stage. Express orders appear with a distinct visual flag so they are never accidentally deprioritised. Managers can see at a glance how many items are waiting at each stage, which orders are approaching their due date, and which are already overdue — without asking individual staff members.
Track garments in washing and drying batches
Washing machines run loads, not individual items. Laundromat360 lets staff group garments into a named batch or load before the washing stage, track the load through the machine cycle, and mark the whole batch as complete when the dryer finishes. Individual garment records stay linked to the batch, so you always know which machine a garment went through.
Display garment care flags at the right stage
Special care instructions captured at intake — cold wash only, do not tumble dry, hand press only — surface automatically when the garment reaches the relevant stage. The ironing operator sees pressing instructions; the washing operator sees temperature requirements. Care information appears where it is needed, not buried in the intake record.
Handle lost-item incidents with a formal log
When a garment cannot be located during processing or at quality check, staff open a lost-item incident against the specific order. The incident records who reported it, when, and the last known stage. The customer is flagged for notification, and the incident stays open until the garment is found or a resolution — replacement, compensation, or write-off — is recorded and approved.
Conduct quality checks before marking orders ready
The quality-check stage is a mandatory gate before an order is marked Ready for collection. The QC operator inspects each garment, confirms the service was completed correctly, and either passes the item or sends it back to the relevant stage with a reason. Only orders that pass QC move to Ready, so customers collect garments that meet your standard.
