Hitaji Calendar solves a problem most teams solve badly: a task due Friday, a client appointment Tuesday, a recurring team meeting, and a two-day conference all living in different tools, none of which talk to each other. Rather than becoming a sixth place to manage your time, Hitaji Calendar is a read-aggregation layer with no data of its own — every task, reminder, event, appointment, and meeting it shows is a live record still owned by the module that created it, so clicking any item opens that module's real detail view rather than a calendar-only stub. Personal, organisation, and "all" scope tabs each carry their own filter options, month, week, day, and agenda-list views cover every way people actually plan their time, and recurring items render their future occurrences on the calendar as live projections even before a database row exists for them. Schools, law firms, and faith organisations each get a purpose-built calendar mode tailored to how they actually schedule, auto-selected by the organisation's active product rather than left as a generic grid everyone has to adapt to.

Five item types, colour-coded and independently filterable
Tasks, Reminders, Events, Appointments, and Meetings each render in their own colour and can be switched on or off individually through a multi-select filter, so a busy calendar can be narrowed to "just my meetings this week" or "everything with a client" in one click, without losing the other item types — they simply hide until switched back on.
Personal, Organisation, and All views
A Personal tab shows only what belongs to you — your tasks, your reminders, your appointments. An Organisation tab shows the shared, team-level picture. Each tab carries its own relevant filter set, since a reminder is inherently personal and a meeting is inherently organisational, and the calendar does not force one lens onto data that does not fit it.
Every item is a live record, not a calendar-only copy
Hitaji Calendar stores nothing of its own. A meeting shown on the calendar is the actual meeting record from the Meetings module; clicking it opens the real meeting detail, complete with participants and a join link, not a read-only calendar stub. Update the task, reminder, event, appointment, or meeting from its own feature and the calendar reflects the change instantly, because it was never a separate copy to begin with.
Recurring items, projected before they exist
A weekly recurring task does not need ten database rows to show ten weeks of occurrences on the calendar — future instances render as live projected occurrences computed on the fly, so the calendar always shows the true recurring pattern without a background job pre-generating rows nobody may ever act on.
Multi-day events, shown session by session
A two-day conference with a morning keynote and three afternoon breakout sessions does not collapse into one vague calendar block — each session within a multi-day Event renders as its own timed entry, so attendees see exactly what is happening and when, down to the individual session rather than just the event's overall date range.
Purpose-built views for schools, law firms, and faith organisations
An organisation running Edu360, Law360, or Faith360 sees a calendar mode built for how that kind of organisation actually schedules — a school calendar view, a law-firm calendar view, a faith-organisation calendar view — auto-selected by the tenant's active product rather than a one-size-fits-all grid every organisation has to bend their workflow around.
Create from the calendar, not a separate form
Clicking a date launches a quick-create flow for the relevant item type directly from the calendar, pre-filled with the date you clicked. Month, week, day, and agenda-list views are all one click apart, so switching from planning a month ahead to checking today's agenda never means leaving the page.
