Never miss a commitment — personal and shared reminders that fit your workflow
One-off, recurring, snoozable reminders attached to tasks, chats, and your daily agenda.
The Reminders module in Hitaji 360 covers both personal reminders and shared team reminders, bridging the gap between the task system (which tracks project deliverables) and the informal commitments that get made in chat and meetings. Any message in Hitaji Chat can be turned into a reminder with two clicks; any task can have an independent reminder set separately from its due date. Recurring reminders handle the repetitive coordination work that clutters most team calendars — weekly report submissions, monthly billing checks, fortnightly one-on-ones — without requiring a full calendar event. A consolidated daily agenda surfaces everything due today across tasks, reminders, and milestones, giving each team member a single morning briefing to orient their day.

Creating personal and shared reminders
Create a reminder from the Reminders panel, the command palette, or the + button in any chat message. A reminder has a title, optional description, due date/time, and an audience: just yourself or a shared list visible to named colleagues or an entire team. Shared reminders appear in every recipient’s agenda and trigger individual notifications, useful for recurring team rituals like sprint retros or monthly expense submissions.
Recurring reminder schedules
Configure reminders to repeat daily, on specific weekdays, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or on a custom interval. Recurring reminders auto-generate the next instance after the current one is dismissed or marked done, keeping the sequence alive without manual re-entry. Each occurrence can be individually snoozed or deleted without affecting the rest of the series, giving flexibility for one-off exceptions like public holidays.
Snooze and reschedule
When a reminder notification arrives, dismiss it, mark it done, or snooze it for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, tomorrow morning, or a custom date and time. Snoozed reminders reappear in the agenda at the new time with a "snoozed" badge so the history of deferrals is visible. Rescheduling a reminder (as opposed to snoozing) updates its canonical due date and re-sorts it in the list.
Reminders from chat messages
Hover over any chat message and click "Remind me" to instantly create a reminder tied to that message. The reminder title pre-fills from the message text, the link back to the original message is preserved, and you set only the time. When the reminder fires, the notification card shows a snippet of the original message and a deep link that jumps straight to it in the chat channel — no hunting required.
Daily agenda
The daily agenda consolidates everything due today: personal reminders, shared reminders, task due dates from Project Management, and goal check-in prompts. It opens automatically as an optional morning notification or is always accessible from the top bar. Items are sorted by time, grouped into morning/afternoon/evening buckets, and can be ticked off directly from the agenda without navigating to the source module.
Reminders attached to tasks
A task in Project Management has a due date that determines overdue alerts for the whole team, but individual task members can also set a personal reminder at a different time — for example, a reminder two days before the due date to start a deliverable. These task-linked reminders appear in the agenda alongside standalone reminders and carry a direct link to the task panel for immediate context.
